August 2026 - Tuesday 18th

Oh boy oh boy oh boy! What a time to be an Alex Turner fan! (If you're even out there...)

So, the interactive story is currently with some beta-testers but once that process is all finished up that will be releasing (so soon!)

I have also now finished my SECOND COLLECTION and I have sent that off to an editor for some feedback. So that's another very exciting thing happening in the next month or two!

And finally, I am hoping to upload my first long form video on my YouTube channel TODAY (providing I finish editing it. It is currently 5:25am so I got time.) 

So much tasty, yummy content!!!

August 2026 - Sunday 2nd

Ugh. I've been hit by a serious bought of PMDD exhaustion -- and it SUCKS. Despite that though, I have revamped the comment system across the entire site. It's pretty janky but it should at the very least actually work this time...

In other news, I finally finished the interactive story game I have been working on for the past few months! I still need to add some of the final touches and flair but it's looking pretty good so far! So definitely expect to see an announcement for that dropping in the not-so-far-away future! I am also working on editing my first longer form YouTube video so that should be going up fairly soon as well!

I might just need to sleep for a week first...

July 2026 - Tuesday 21st

I made a lil' game demo! It looks pretty rough and the game loop is uhhhhhhh a bit basic -- but it was mostly just a test for a bigger project I'm working on!

July 2026 - Friday 17th

Soooooo it's been really hot and I have been really struggling to stay awake because of the heat so my productivity has tanked a lil' bit. But! I am still doing what I can, when I can. So today I have uploaded a super special post! I'm also using that post to try out a few SEO best practises I have been learning about so we'll see how that goes.

July 2026 - Monday 6th

Hello again! The past couple of weeks I made a big decision: the fantasy pirate novel I've been working on for half a decade? I've decided to put it on hold for the time being. I have just felt like my expectations for it have become so high that... I just can't write it anymore. I keep putting off working on it so I think it's time I let it rest for a bit. Probably been a long time coming honestly...

In other news though I have started writing a little novelette and that has been going really well! I am also working on a little writing experiment to make into a YouTube video that answers a pretty big question -- so you'll want to be subscribed for when that drops!

June 2026 - Wednesday 17th

So, the book has been released. The YouTube channel has been launched. It's been a busy time for me! So I have elected to take it a lil slower the past couple of weeks to recharge after the sprint that I just endured.

I have a new blog post written and ready to go as well as some content for my YouTube channel to record and release so I definitely haven't been idle. I am currently a little torn between continuing to work on multiple projects at once or do another sprint to finish the interactive story game that's been in the works now for the past half a year.

I like my current model of working on several projects at once because it allows me to work and remain productive even if I'm not feeling a certain story on a certain day. It keeps me entertained and, therefore, motivated!

Buuuuuut my IF (interactive fiction) game is looking pretty close to the end (it's all written, I just need to code everything) that I kinda just want to make a mad dash for the finish line like I did with 'Letters to Alex No.2'.

I guess I'll sit on it a lil' longer and see how I feel?

May 2026 - Monday 25th

Just a week to go until my book is released! I'm so excited!

That being said, the past couple of weeks have been manic trying to get everything ready. I already know that for my next release I am gonna be doing things slightly differently. But I get the official proof copy tomorrow so I'll be able to hold it in my hands for the first time -- which is absolutely wild!

I am also thinking imma need a holiday after this though...

May 2026 - Saturday 9th

Hello again! I finally posted that update blog post this week so that's a huge win! (If you haven't read it yet you can check it out here!)

Otherwise I have been extraordinarily busy the past few weeks! I'm currently halting progress on my novel and the interactive story I was working on in order to focus on that sexy lil' secret project. I'm super duper excited about it! 

So keep your eyes peeled on May 18th ;)

March 2026 - Tuesday 31st

Hello! This is my first devlog update! I know it looks like I have been idle for the past... however many months it's been since I've updated this website -- but I have actually been up to a lot! My current projects include: my fantasy pirate novel (always ongoing), a spooky interactive story based on a Welsh folktale I grew up with (should be coming soon!), and also a fun little secret project that'll be available on my Ko-Fi page (definitely give that page a follow so you know when it is published!) 

And, by popular demand (aka my boyfriend and no one else), Alex Clash 2 is also in the works! So definitely hit up my mailing list so you know when that comes out. ;)

This website has also gotten a few updates and I'm hoping to get some new content out on here pretty soon. I should actually maybe make a full blog post about that though... Eh. One day.
